Biography
Thomas Fownes is a Trader on the Mortgage and Structured Finance Team at Loomis, Sayles & Company.
Thomas joined Loomis Sayles in 2023 and has eight years of investment industry experience. Previously, he was a fixed income trader at State Street Global Advisors, where he was responsible for trading ABS, CMBS and agency mortgages across all fund strategies. Prior to that, Thomas traded fixed income repurchase agreements at State Street Global Markets and was responsible for funding the bank’s holdings and managing the firms matched repo book.
Thomas earned a BS in finance from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston. He is a CFA® charterholder.
