Biography
Michael Snow is the Head of Investment Technology & Services for Loomis, Sayles & Company and NIM-os, a subsidiary of Loomis Sayles that provides technology, operating and other services to Loomis Sayles, Natixis Investment Managers, various affiliates and select clients. Previously, Michael was Head of Investment Technology, responsible for the architecture and design of the firmās investment management tools, including portfolio construction, risk modeling, analytic metrics and performance attribution. In this new role, he also leads the technology support initiatives for Loomis Sayles investment management clients and prospects. Michael has 20 years of investment industry experience and joined Loomis Sayles in 2012. Previously, he was a quantitative developer and consultant at Highview Partners focused on risk model development for fixed income. Prior to this, Michael was a senior applications developer at Omgeo/DTCC, responsible for development of customer billing and trading systems. He was also a combat and weapon systems engineer at the Department of the Navy, responsible for the design and development of combat systems for nuclear submarines. Michael earned a BS in software engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Suffolk University.
