Biography
Mike Skurka is an Investment Director for the Municipal Bond Team at Loomis, Sayles & Company. In this role, he is responsible for supporting the growth and retention of the team’s assets. Mike joined Loomis Sayles in 2022 and has 27 years of investment industry experience. Previously, he was a senior product specialist at Resolute Investment Managers, where he was responsible for articulating the firm’s product capabilities to clients, prospects and sales enablers and partnering with senior investment professionals to develop bespoke investment solutions. Prior to this, Mike was a managing director and client portfolio manager at Virtus Investment Partners, where he served as a subject matter expert for clients of multiple portfolio management teams and worked with internal and external parties to develop asset bases of covered strategies. He has also worked as a product specialist at UBS Asset Management and HFR Asset Management. Mike earned a BS from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
