Biography

David Rittner is an Investment Strategist for the Mortgage and Structured Finance Team at Loomis, Sayles & Company. He is responsible for aiding the fixed income product teams in constructing and implementing optimal strategies across all segments on securitized assets.

David joined Loomis Sayles in 2021 as a Senior Investment Analyst and was promoted to Investment Strategist in 2023. He has 14 years of investment industry experience. Previously, David was an assistant vice president and fixed income portfolio analyst at Wellington Management, where he helped manage structured finance securities across core, core plus and unconstrained bond funds, generating strategic relative value trades across the capital stack in ABS, CMBS and RMBS. Prior to this, he was an investment associate at JP Morgan Asset Management, where he performed research, traded and managed structured finance bonds for the firm’s absolute return fixed income strategy.

David earned a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a CFAĀ® charterholder.
