Biography
Colleen Denzler is the Chief Sustainability Officer at Loomis, Sayles & Company. She is responsible for developing and advancing the firmās sustainability initiatives. In service of our fiduciary duty, we believe the best way to consider sustainability is through integration that aims to identify the financial materiality of ESG factors. To that end, Colleen partners with the investment teams to provide forward-looking insights on sustainability and transition risks and opportunities related to industry trends, and regulatory changes to help meet clientsā evolving sustainability needs. Colleen has 20-plus years of dedicated industry leadership and experience in sustainable investing. She began her career as an ESG-focused portfolio manager at Calvert Asset Management and has held roles as a senior portfolio manager and investment team leader at American Century Investments, global head of fixed income strategy at Janus Henderson, independent strategic consultant, and chief investment officer at First Affirmative Financial Network. Before joining Loomis Sayles in 2022, Colleen led Smith Capital Investingās firmwide ESG integration efforts. She earned a BS in finance from Radford University. Colleen holds FINRA licenses 7 and 66 as well as certifications from the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures. She is a CFAĀ® charterholder.
