Biography
Bedford Lydon is a Senior Credit Research Analyst at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where he covers municipal bonds. He has 30 years of investment industry experience and joined Loomis Sayles in 2019 as part of the firmās acquisition of McDonnell Investment Management, where he had most recently served as a vice president and senior fixed income analyst for the research department. In this role, Bedford was responsible for providing both the municipal and taxable portfolio management teams with fixed income credit and market research. Previously, he conducted valuations, forecasts, research and analysis for public sector clients at RCF Economic & Financial Consulting. Prior to this, Bedford held research and analytical positions in the real estate research groups at First Union Corporation and Salomon Brothers. He earned a BA in Economics from the College of William and Mary, as well as a Masterās of Public Policy degree and an MBA in Finance, Economics and Accounting from the University of Chicago.
