Biography

Jack Celata is a Senior High Yield Trader for the Fixed Income Group at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where he is responsible for trading the communications and consumer cyclical sectors. He joined Loomis Sayles in 2020 and has 15 years of investment industry experience. Previously, Jack was a senior high yield trader focusing on the healthcare, metals and mining, media and cable sectors at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Prior to this, he was a credit trader at Axa Investment Managers. Jack started his career in the physical commodities group at Morgan Stanley. He earned a BS in economics from Northeastern University and an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business. Jack is actively involved as a mentor for the Undergraduate Women’s Investment Network (UWIN) and Undergraduate Summer Internship Development (USID) Program, as well as the firm’s mentorship program, for which he also serves as a committee member. He is an active member of the Loomis Sayles Allies group, which is dedicated to supporting the firm’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
