Biography
Colin Wilson Murphy is a Senior Credit Research Analyst at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where he is focused on distressed and restructuring credits. He joined Loomis Sayles in 2017 and has 20 years of investment industry experience. Previously, Colin was a senior analyst responsible for supporting research and trading in special situations and distressed debt at Bowery Investment Management. Prior to this, he was an analyst at Longacre Fund Management, where he was responsible for supporting research and trading in special situations, post reorganization investments, deep-value equities and distressed debt, with areas of interest in energy, education, media, homebuilding and airline companies. Colin earned a BA from Trinity College and an MBA from Columbia Business School where he was selected into The Heilbrunn Center for Graham & Dodd Value Investing Program.
