Biography
Matt Welch is a Senior Credit Research Analyst and Business Manager at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where he covers the Latin American and Eastern European emerging markets. He is also responsible for the coordination of client and internal reporting, as well as data management and the development of analytical and technology tools within Credit Research. Matt began his investment industry career in 1999 and joined Loomis Sayles in 2000. Prior to joining Loomis Sayles, he served as a Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps for eight years. Matt earned a BS from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from Northeastern University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
